WestChester Rod & Reel Logo

Fully established in 1986, Westchester Rod & Reel Bassmasters, Inc. has long been recognized as one of the outstanding bass fishing clubs in New York State.  As community leaders in outdoors activities featuring highly competitive local and statewide tournaments, Westchester Rod and Reel Bassmasters, Inc. has always served as willing participants in youth, conservation and charity related activities in the NY Metropolitan area.  We are proud members of  the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation and the New York B.A.S.S. Chapter Federation where in 1999 we captured the title of Most Improved Club in NY State.  We  also belong to the Alliance of Bass Clubs where we are joined by other great clubs of Southern NY, Long Island, North Jersey and Connecticut to compete in a truly outstanding and competitive supplemental team tournament trail.

Our club tournament trail consists of seven strategically scheduled points events per season which allows members, both boaters and non-boaters, plenty of leeway to work around family and work schedules. Our tournament format also allows members to participate in other trails and events and we always work around our New York B.A.S.S. Chapter Federation Trail. One highlight of our trail features a Two Day Summer Classic, held the past few years on Lake Champlain out of historic Ticonderoga.  Here members get together for the ultimate in bass fishing competition on one of our Nations best bass waters, while sharing the experience and camaraderie with fellow members.  We cap off our season  with a Two Day Year End Classic Championship.

Westchester Rod and Reel Bassmasters has also worn the Crown of Alliance of Bass Clubs Challenge Cup Champions for an unprecedented 5 times since being established in 1992!  (1996, 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2007 Challenge Cup Champions).

Further supporting our status as an elite bass club, we have participated in the Bassmaster CastingKids Competition at the World Fishing & Outdoor Exposition in Suffern, NY for the past 15 years.
