Matt Horvitz wins his first club tournament at the Lake Champlain Summer Classic with a record breaking performance. His first day sack of 23.98 lbs. was followed by a 15.67 lbs. giving him a 2 total of 39.65 lbs. He was followed by an equally impressive performance by Paul Ascani who finished in second place just .43 lbs. behind with 39.23. Third place honors went to Bob Jorgensen with 36.60 lbs. Matt Horvitz leads after day one at the Lake Champlain Summer Classic with a whooping 23.98 lbs. He's followed by Chris Chiocchi (19.32) and the Paul Ascani with 19.08. To be in the top 8 you needed 18 or more pounds, day two will be interesting and several club records are ready to be broken. 7/10/10
