Chris Gore slipped into 3rd place with a 15.26 lbs. limit of smallies.

Jon Bush took the lunker of the day honor, and to date the lunker of the year, with this 5.42 lbs. largemouth. Who is that in the background, none other than Jon's boater for the day John Cannizzaro.

Assistant Weighmaster Chris Chiocchi is hard at work.

Kenny Woods waits for his weight which was good enough for 5th place.

Charlie Coliskey won his second tournament of the year on Candlewood Lake.

Frank Giner finished in 2nd place and would have won except for a dead fish penalty.

Jimmy Johnsen (actual photo not available due to Tournament Committee rules) took 3rd place and lunker of the day.

Rich Bose had a fantastic day and finished in 4th place.

Matt Horvitz had a great day and finished in 5th.

Bob Ski brought a limit to the scales. Out of the 17 anglers that fished on this day, 16 limits were brought to the scales. Only Tournament Committee Chairman Loring Tamaro did not catch a limit.

Lake Lillinonah

Jimmy Johnsen won the Lake Lilly event with an impressive 10.71 lbs. bag on a tough day on a tough lake.

Highland Lake

Charlie Coliskey won the opener on Highland Lake and took home the Lunker of the Day honors with a 3.92 lbs. largemouth.

George Puskar started the year with a second place finish.

Third place finisher Richie Russell discusses his day with Georgie.

Jimmy Johnsen had a golden rule failure on his first tournament bringing an 11 3/4" fish to the scales, fortunately he requested a courtesy measurement...

...Andre fished with Jimmy and this fish measured 11 1/2 inches on Jimmy's defective board, but Andre, being a pro-staffer, returned the fish to the lake without weighing it in or a courtesy measurement.

Rookie Tournament Committee Chairman Loring Tamaro ran a great first tournament.
